Surfrider International Surfing Day 2016 celebrates locally at Dana Point’s Salt Creek Beach Monday June 20 2016.

Surfrider is hosting a Potluck, Beach Cleanup, Surf Demo and a Surf Session From 4:00pm to 7:00pm.

Salt Creek Beach Dana Point California Parking

Salt Creek Beach Park is located at 33333 South Pacific Coast Highway in Dana Point.

Salt Creek Beach has a Pay Parking lot.

You can ride the free Dana Point Trolley to Salt Creek Beach.

All year Surfrider and their coastal defender network work tirelessly to protect our coasts.

On International Surfing Day June 20 2016 Surfrider takes a moment to reflect on the impact they have made, the campaigns they have won and the beaches they have protected.

Founded in 2005, International Surfing Day is an international celebration of the sport of surfing, while at the same time working to raise awareness and support for our world’s beach and coastal environments.

Now in its 12th year, ISD has grown into the largest global activation on the planet – with more than 200 Surfrider Foundation-led events worldwide, including Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Canada, France, United Kingdom, Argentina and Japan, and more than 90+ separate events here in the United States!

If you are not near a beach or chapter on June 20 2016 there are a variety of ways you can celebrate surfing and give back to our ocean, such as picking up trash, signing-up to host an event, or becoming a Surfrider Foundation member.
