The Laguna Beach Arts Commission meets tonight, Monday April 13 2015 at 5:30pm.
The Commission meets at Laguna Beach City Council Chambers at 505 Forest Avenue.
The public is encouraged to attend.
Scheduled Discussion Items Include:
Artist Designed Bench Competition – Review 12 applications and select up to three finalists to develop proposals for an artist designed bench at Crescent Bay Point Park. Discuss and approve notes to finalists
National Arts Marketing Project (NAMP) Localized Marketing Workshop – Discuss and approve workshop topic and date
Artist Open Studios – Discuss and approve the recommendation to conduct the event on October 17 and 18, 2015 and March 19 and 20, 2016 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and allocate an additional $4,500 of unallocated funds to the proposed 2015/2016 Arts Commission Special Programs Business Improvement District budget increasing the funding to $8,500.
Art Commission – Discuss and recommend reducing the Commission from nine to seven members and review Chapter 2.23 of the Municipal Code
