The California State Parks is hosting Earth Day 2015 Cleanups!
Locally, Crystal Cove State Beach will host a cleanup today,Saturday April 18 2015.
This event is from 9:00am to 1:00pm.
Earth Day is a great opportunity to come out to state parks and lend a hand with projects and programs that help improve our parks.
For 16 years, CSPF has responded to the needs of state parks with highly impactful and successful Earth Day programs.
This year’s event will hold volunteer improvement projects at 27 state parks across California.
Remember to bring a water bottle, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, heavy-duty garden gloves, long pants, and closed-toe shoes.
Location/Directions:
Enter the park at the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Newport Coast Drive.
Check-in at Pelican Point parking lot #4.
Registration Time: 8:30 a.m.
Project Time: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Details: Coffee, light breakfast and lunch provided.
