The Laguna Beach Sawdust Festival hosts Art Classes on their grounds year round.
The Sawdust Art Festival is located at 935 Laguna Canyon Road.
Today’s class, Friday July 17 2015 is at 10:00am.
The class is entitled Cold Connection with Annette Doreng-Stearns.
In this class you will learn the art of connecting metals through the use of rivets, tubes and grommets.
No soldering will be required.
You will also explore other ways of cold connecting, texture and patina, and you will leave the class with a new ring and the skills to make many more.
About Annette Doreng-Stearns
Annette was trained as an architect at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in her homeland of Denmark.
As an artist she has her hand in many different mediums.
She paints Theater sets as well as paintings, is an art quilter, a jewelry maker and a sculptor.
She also taught handwork at the Santa Fe Waldorf School to both students and adults.
