The Dana Point Ocean Institute will be presenting a special presentation on scientific sea exploration.
This event is Wednesday September 30 2015 at 5:30pm.
The Ocean Institute evening’s talk will be about the sub design, dive locations, planned exploration, and scientific goals.
This special presentation is with Southern California native Chris Welsh.
Chris Welsh is the owner and chief pilot of Deep Sub LLC.
Deep Sub LLC operates a deep diving (36,000′ full ocean depth) submersible and mothership.
The objective is to accomplish “Five Dives” – to the deepest places in each of the five ocean basins.
There will be a Catamaran tour and sub viewing before the presentation!
Arrive early to view the submersible and tour the catamaran.

5:30 pm-6:00 pm: Submersible viewing and Q& A
6:00 pm-6:30pm: Catamaran tour
6:30 pm-7:00 pm: Doors open and refreshments
7:00 pm: Presentation
Reservations are required; refreshments will be provided.
Cost: $5.00 for Members and $10.00 for the General Public.
