Restoration of Public Art – “Sunbather” by Leonard Glasser, Nita Carmen Park – Discuss and review arts conservationist report. Discuss and approve action to:
Treatment Option A – Powder coating at an estimated cost of $10,050
or Treatment Option B – Pressure washing and priming at an estimated cost of $5,550
Restoration of Public Art – “Grace” by Terry Thornsley at Lifeguard Headquarters
Discuss and review arts conservationist report.
Discuss and approve maintenance of the work due to the saline conditions at a cost of $1.950.
Holiday Palette Competition – Review submissions to the competition and select winning designs.
Heisler Park Artist Designed Bench Competition – Review artist submissions and select finalists.
2016 Performing Arts Event Schedule – Discuss and approve the 2015 schedules for “Friday Flicks at the Forum”; “Sunset Serenades” (May and September); “Music in the Park” and “Shakespeare in the Park.”
