Each year Laguna Beach (a famous seaside community and historic artist colony) turns into an outdoor painting studio.

The west coast’s most prestigious plein air art event: The Laguna Beach Plein Air Painting Invitational

is October 17 2015 through October 25 2015.

This 9-day event showcases the nation’s top plein air landscape painters who compete for prestigious prizes.

The week-long festivities including public paint-outs, painting demonstrations and conversations, and educational events.

Culminating with the highly anticipated Collectors Soiree.

Attendees get the first look at the original art created throughout the week and presented for award consideration.

All Day Public Parking:

There are 8 public parking lots in the City of Laguna Beach.

Prices : $10-15 all day with slight increases on weekends and holidays.

Meters:
The City of Laguna Beach has ample metered parking on Laguna Canyon Road and within the city streets.

Meters Pricing:

$2-3 per hour for a 3 hour maximum in the downtown area.

The meters accept most credit cards.

Parking is strictly enforced daily from 8:00am-9:00pm.

Laguna Beach Alternative Transportation

The Laguna Beach Trolley has a free coastal route on the weekend.

There will be special Laguna Beach Trolleys running on a loop between Main Beach, Heisler Park and the Festival of Arts.
