The Laguna Beach Sawdust Festival hosts Art Classes on their grounds year round!
2 Hour Pottery Workshop is Friday January 29 2016.
The Class is from 10:00am thru 12:00pm.
This class will cover basic throwing skills and techniques on the potter’s wheel including centering the clay, pulling the clay into a cylinder, forming the clay into basic shapes of bowls and vases.
Use of the basic tools to manipulate and form the clay shapes while throwing will be covered, as well as the use of the rib to thin out clay walls while shaping the forms.
The Sawdust Art Festival is located at 935 Laguna Canyon Road.

4 Week Class Registration Dates:
4 Week classes are open to students of all skill levels from beginning to intermediate.
You will first learn the basics of throwing on the potters wheel, before having the opportunity to refine your skills with additional practice in trimming, more complex forms and glazing.
Fridays February 5 thru February 26 2016 10:00am to 12:00pm
Saturdays: March 5 thru March 26 2016 at 10:00am to 12:00pm
