Laguna Beach Arts Commission is accepting applications for a Cultural Arts Grant by Monday February 1 2016.<!–more–
Applications must be from non profit organization with functioning cultural programming based in Laguna Beach.
The Deadline to submit is by 5:00pm. Monday February 1 2016.
The City of Laguna Beach is committed to work with cultural arts organizations to ensure the development and success of a vibrant arts community.
Applicants are encouraged to provide expanded programming that deepen and expand active experiences in the arts.
The grant program seeks to:
Promote and encourage arts and cultural activities in the Laguna Beach Tourist Promotion District.
Develop cultural programs that encourage audience participation.
Encourage artistic excellence.
Develop new audiences for the arts.
In evaluating applications, consideration will be given to the following:
Non-profit organizations with functioning programs.
Cultural programs that provide the greatest benefits in meeting the cultural needs of Laguna Beach and its visitors.
New/ and or expanded services not currently being provided.
