The Laguna Beach Heritage Committee meets Monday March 21 2016 at 5:30pm.
The Committee meets at Laguna Beach City Council Chambers.
City Council Chambers are located at 505 Forest Avenue.
The public is encouraged to attend.
The Laguna Beach Heritage Committee Work Includes:
Evaluations of alterations to historic structures
Requests to place structures on the Historic Register
Recommendations of properties for Mills Act contracts
Proposed Discussion Items Include:
22511 Allview Terrace (Hortense Miller Garden) – The applicant requests that the Heritage Committee review and provide recommendations for Design Review for alterations to a “E”- rated property listed on the City’s Historic Register.
A historic assessment has not been provided.
506 Bluebird Canyon Road- The applicant requests Heritage Committee approval upgrade the
“C” -rated property to a “K”-rated property on the City’s Historic Register.
31853 Eighth Avenue – The applicant requests that the Heritage Committee review and provide recommendations for Design Review for alterations to a “C”-rated structure listed on the City’s Historic Register.
A historic assessment has been provided.
31978 Coast Hwy- The applicant requests Heritage Committee review and determine if the home warrants continued historic significance.
If the home remains historically significant, then the Committee should review and comment on the windows that have been replaced on the west elevation (code enforcement).
