The Hurley Pro Trestles 2016 and Swatch Women’s Pro 2016 is ongoing Thursday September 8 thru Sunday September 18 2016 at Trestles San Clemente California.
Thursday September 8 2016:
The Swatch Women’s Pro 2016 kicked off the competition Wednesday September 7 2016.
The Women’s Pro completed Round 1. Stephanie Gilmore topped the board with a 16.70 Heat Total.
Men’s Round 1 is scheduled to begin at 8:00am. Call Time is at 7:30am Thursday September 8 2016.
Kelly Slater ( Heat 8 ) and Brett Simpson ( Heat 6 ) are scheduled to compete Thursday September 8 2016.
The Surf Report is calling for over 2 foot swells in the morning. Projected swells could reach over 4 feet today.
The highs will be building this morning and peaking around 2:00pm.
Weather is projected to be cloudy with the sun breaking through. Highs today of 73 Degrees.
The Hurley Pro Trestles 2016 is a ongoing event that will continue through September 18 2016.
The surf contest is at Lower Trestles.
Lower Trestles can be accessed by exiting Interstate 5 at Basilone Road in San Clemente.
There is a $20.00 onsite parking fee at this entrance.
Overflow parking will be available with a free shuttle service.
For free parking you have to exit off Interstate 5 at Cristianitos Exit in San Clemente.
