The 32nd Annual Tall Ships Festival is in Dana Point Saturday September 10 2016 and Sunday September 11 2016.
The Festival is in Dana Point Harbor centered at The Ocean Institute .

9:00am: Mermaid Breakfast
10:00 a.m. Toshiba Tall Ships Festival 2016 opens
10:00 a.m. Ocean Institute opens
10:00 a.m. Tall ships open for tours
3:30 p.m. Tall ships tours conclude, except the brig Pilgrim (ships get ready for cannon battles)
4:00 p.m. Boarding begins for Cannon Battle cruises
4:30 p.m. Tall Ships Sunset Cannon Battle cruises (4:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.)
5:00 p.m. Ocean Institute and the brig Pilgrim close
5:00 p.m. Brig Pilgrim tours conclude
8:30 p.m. Shuttle service ends

Parking Information and Directions to Tall Ship Festival
The Dana Point Ocean Institute is located in Dana Point Harbor at 24200 Dana Point Harbor Drive.
There will be no onsite parking at the Ocean Institute during the Festival.
Parking is not allowed on Dana Point Harbor Drive during the Festival. You will be towed if you park there.
There is limited free timed parking in lots in Dana Point Harbor.
Saturday and Sunday Festival: Free Shuttle to the Festival and free parking at Strands Beach and Dana Hills High School.
Official shuttle hours are from 8:30am-8:30pm Saturday September 10 2016 and Sunday September 11 2016.
Festival begins at 10:00am Saturday September 10 2016 and Sunday September 11 2016.
Please allow ample time to get from the offsite parking lots to the Ocean Institute festival site.
Shuttles will run continuously during Festival hours.
Strands Beach Parking Lot is located at 34199 Selva Road Dana Point
If traveling on the I-5 South: exit on Pacific Coast Highway.
If traveling on the I-5 North: exit at Beach Cities.
From either offramp, go past Dana Point Harbor Drive approximately 1.7 miles. Turn left on Selva Road.
Lot will be on the right.
Dana Hills High School is located at 33333 Golden Lantern Street Dana Point
Please note, this lot will close at 6:00 pm Saturday and Sunday.
The last shuttle will depart from Dana Point Harbor at 5:00 pm.
If traveling on the 5 south: Exit on Pacific Coast Highway.
If traveling on the 5 north: Exit at Beach Cities.
From either offramp go past Dana Point Harbor Drive for approximately 1.5 miles, until the signal light at Golden Lantern.
Turn Right on Golden Lantern and travel about one mile until Acapulco Dr.
At Acapulco Drive make a u-turn, and proceed to the Dana Hills parking lot on the right.
Metrolink to Tall Ships Festival
Take the Metrolink Orange County Line or Inland Empire Orange County Line to the San Juan Capistrano Metrolink Station where you can show your valid Metrolink ticket to board a free shuttle to the festival.
You can purchase a ticket through the Metrolink App or at any station.
