The Laguna Beach Police Department Officer Jon Coutchie Remembrance Ceremony is Wednesday September 21 2016.
In honor of Laguna Beach Officer Jon Coutchie’s ultimate sacrifice three years ago, members of the Police Department will be gathering in front of the Police Memorial on Wednesday September 21, 2016 at 5:00 p.m.
This has become an annual tradition which is open to any member of the public wishing to attend.
During the ceremony, members of the Laguna Beach Honor Guard will lower the American Flag at the memorial and give it to a recipient in the audience.
This Police Memorial honors two Laguna Beach Police Officers who were killed in the line of duty (Gordon French in 1953 and Jon Coutchie in 2013).
