Orange County California Clerk Recorder is offering late hours for Valentine’s Day Tuesday February 14 2017. The extended hours will help couples wishing to get married on Valentine’s Day.
Orange County Clerk Recorder Hugh Nguyen will be offering extended hours at the following offices.
Old Orange County Courthouse located at 211 West Santa Ana Blvd in Santa Ana.
Hours are 8:00am to 5:30pm on Tuesday February 14 2017
Fullerton Orange County Clerk Recorder Office located at 201 North Harbor Blvd. in Fullerton.
Hours are 9:00am to 5:30pm on Tuesday February 14 2017.
Laguna Hills Civic Center located at 24031 El Toro Road Suite 150 in Laguna Hills.
Hours ar 9:00am to 5:30pm Tuesday February 14 2017.
The Orange County Clerk Recorder designated locations will close at 5:30 pm instead of its normal closing hours to issue marriage licenses and perform marriage ceremonies.
Valentine’s Day continues to be one of the busiest days of the year for the department and this year will be no exception.
Couples are encouraged to make an appointment for a civil marriage ceremony due to the popularity of this day.
Couples can make an appointment by visiting OCRecorder.com and using the online appointment system.
Walk-in couples are welcome and will be accommodated based on availability of ceremony rooms.
The department would like to remind couples that Orange County has one of the lowest costs for a marriage license and marriage ceremony in the state.
Couples can obtain a public marriage license for $61 and a confidential marriage license for $66.
A civil marriage ceremony can be performed for an additional $28.
Please note that the department’s Westminster location will only issue marriage licenses and will close at 4:30 pm.
Westminster Orange County Clerk Recorder Office is at the County Community Service Center located at 15460 Magnolia Street in Westminster.
