Jesse Lerner will be discussing artistic exchanges between “Alta California” and Mexico.
This Lecture is held in conjunction with the PST: LA/LA exhibition “California Mexicana.”
Pacific Standard Time: LA/LA is a far-reaching and ambitious exploration of Latin American and Latino art in dialogue with Los Angeles taking place from September 2017 through January 2018.
Led by the Getty, Pacific Standard Time: LA/LA is a collaboration of arts institutions across Southern California.
At Laguna Art Museum, “California Mexicana: Missions to Murals, 1820-1930” and “Dan McCleary: Prints from Oaxaca,” are part of PST: LA/LA.
Both exhibitions open on October 15 2017.
