Laguna Coast Wilderness Park hosts Astronomy Night Saturday August 18 2017.

Join Orange County Astronomers for a view of the summer night sky in search of planets.
Enjoy the opporutnity to alos look through telescopes at Jupiter, Saturn, various stars, and other celestial objects.
Visit the Science Heads’ Mobile Observatory.
Enjoy activities inthe Nix Nature Center.
No hiking involved. Come prepared with layers of clothing to keep warm, a flashlight, and a cell phone to learn about astronomy apps.
You may also bring drinks and snacks.

The gate will close at 8:15 pm and open again at 10:00 pm
So plan to arrive on time and stay until the end of the event.
The event will be cancelled for overcast conditions.
Laguna Coast Wilderness Park, Little Sycamore Canyon Staging Area/Nix Nature Center (west sdie of Laguna Canyon Rd/SR-133, approximately 3.5 miles south of 405/approximately 5 miles south of I-5.

(west side of Laguna Canyon Rd/SR-133, approximately 3.5 miles south of I-405).
