Celebrate California’s rich maritime history during the annual Family Friendly Ocean Institute Tall Ships Festival.
The Tall Ships Festival Features: Cannon Battle Sails, Craft Beer Tastings, Breakfast With a Mermaid, the Parade Of Sails, Pirate Adventures, Historical Reenactments & more.
Saturday 9:00am-10:30am: Breakfast with a Mermaid
Meet mermaid friends, make a fun mermaid craft, enjoy pancakes, and watch mermaids swim underwater!

The Tall Ships Festival Pass includes:Tours of the Brig Pilgrim, the Spirit of Dana Point, and all visiting vessels from 10:00am to 3:00pm

Join the Spirit of Dana Point and the armada of ships as they set sail to engage in the Festival’s most exciting and captivating experience.
Join the crew as they harness the power of the wind to maneuver and position themselves to gain the advantage.
Must be at least 4 years old to board.
Includes admission to the Tall Ships Fastival the day of the battle.

Parking Information and Directions to Tall Ship Festival
The Dana Point Ocean Institute is located in Dana Point Harbor at 24200 Dana Point Harbor Drive.
There will be no onsite parking at the Ocean Institute during the Festival and no parking in County Lots in the Harbor.
Free Parking and Shuttle at Strands Vista Park and Dana Hills High School.
Shuttles will run throughout the Festival at 30 minute intervals.
The last shuttle will leave the Ocean Institute lot 30 minutes after Cannon Battle Cruise Ships have returned.

Strands Vista Park Parking Lot is located at 34199 Selva Road Dana Point
If traveling on the I-5 South: exit on Pacific Coast Highway.
If traveling on the I-5 North: exit at Beach Cities.
From either offramp, go past Dana Point Harbor Drive approximately 1.7 miles.
Turn left on Selva Road.
Lot will be on the right.

Dana Hills High School is located at 33333 Golden Lantern Street Dana Point
If traveling on the 5 south: Exit on Pacific Coast Highway.
If traveling on the 5 north: Exit at Beach Cities.
From either offramp go past Dana Point Harbor Drive for approximately 1.5 miles, until the signal light at Golden Lantern.
Turn Right on Golden Lantern and travel about one mile until Acapulco Dr.
At Acapulco Drive make a u-turn, and proceed to the Dana Hills parking lot on the right.

Take the Metrolink Orange County Line or Inland Empire Orange County Line to the San Juan Capistrano Metrolink Station.

You can purchase a ticket through the MetroLink App or at any station.
The Ocean Institute will be operating free shuttle bus service from the San Juan Capistrano station to the Tall Ships Festival.
The shuttle operates every 30 minutes both Saturday and Sunday.
