The Laguna Beach Planning Commission meets Wednesday November 7 2018 at 6:00pm.
The Commission meets at City Council Chambers at 505 Forest Avenue.
The public is encouraged to attend.
The Commission will discuss various permits to be considered for various structures located within Laguna Beach.
Proposed Discussion Items Include:
Moke Electric Vehicles (www.westcoastmoke.com) at 980 north Coast Highway for small electric car rental location (previously Java to Go and Caffino’s)
Artists Live/Work Project: four-units at 20000 Laguna Canyon Road
The development of a new hotel and retail facility at the corner of South Coast Highway and Cleo Street (Holiday Inn)
The mixed use development at 680-690 South Coast Highway consists of two ground floor commercial units with 14 second floor apartments.
An Administrative Use Permit (AUP 09-11) was approved in 2010 which allowed the existing apartment units to be rented for short- term lodging.
The facility is proposed with three levels dedicated to below grade parking and a maximum of four levels above grade dedicated to hotel, restaurant, retail, meeting room and deck/patio/pool/outdoor areas.
