The National Weather Service (NWS) San Diego Reports that “High surf will occur along the San Diego and Orange County beaches Thursday January 17 2019 afternoon through Friday January 18 2019 (peaking late Thursday night/early Friday).
Local surf 13-15 ft is possible south of Encinitas (most areas will have 6-11 ft).
Rip currents and minor coastal flooding will be likely.”
Expect Ocean and Surf hazards at Local Beaches.
