The Laguna Beach Arts Commission meets Monday September 23 2019.

The Laguna Beach Arts Commission will be meeting at Laguna Beach City Council Chambers.
Laguna Beach City Council Chambers is located at 505 Forest Avenue.
The public is encouraged to attend.

Members of the Arts Commission advise City Council about matters pertaining to artistic and aesthetic aspects of the City.
This includes rules and regulations necessary for the administration and preservation of fine arts, performing arts, and aesthetic aspects of the community.
Members of the Arts Commission serve two-year terms.

Cultural Arts Funding Grant Presentations – Laguna Dance Festival

311 Ocean Avenue: Temporary Mural Installation (Brass Tack)
Discuss and approve a temporary mural installation by Jo Situ Allen

2020 Art That’s Small at City Hall – Discuss and approve competition guidelines
Submission Deadline: Saturday March 7 2020 9:00am to 11:00am
Installed at City Hall on March 7 2020 and on exhibit through April 17 2020.

2020 Banner Competition – Discuss and approve competition guidelines
Submission Deadline is March 2 2020

2020 Performance Date – Discuss and approve performance dates for Music in the Park and Sunset Serenades
Friday Flicks- February 7, March 6, and April 3
Sunset Serenades (Spring) – May 1, 8, 15, and 22
World Music Series- May 29, June 5, and 12
Circus Bella- June 6, 2019 *Already approved by City Council
Music in the Park- July 12, 19, 26, and August 2, 9, 16, and 23
Sunset Serenades (Fall) – September 4, 11, 18, and 25

Village Entrance Art in Public Places – Discuss and approve revisions to the concept proposal by artist Marc Fornes for the Art in Public Places at the Village Entrance
