On October 24 2019, the Doheny Village Working Group recommended that the draft Capistrano Beach Village Zoning Overlay District be forwarded to the City Council for review.
In the Dana Point Zoning Code, a new chapter is proposed to establish the Capistrano Beach Village Districts.
These districts are designed to achieve an integrated neighborhood-serving business and residential environment.
