The Laguna Beach Arts Commission meets Monday November 25 2019.

The Laguna Beach Arts Commission will be meeting at Laguna Beach City Council Chambers.
Laguna Beach City Council Chambers is located at 505 Forest Avenue.
The public is encouraged to attend.

Members of the Arts Commission advise City Council about matters pertaining to artistic and aesthetic aspects of the City.
This includes rules and regulations necessary for the administration and preservation of fine arts, performing arts, and aesthetic aspects of the community.
Members of the Arts Commission serve two-year terms.

$10,000 Grant from Laguna Beach Business Improvement District to Promote a Concert at The Irvine Bowl

Discuss and select 12 designs for display at City Hall
Awards Ceremony at City Council Meeting at City Hall on December 3 2019 at 5:00pm.

City Hall Painting Appraisal
Discuss and approve retaining the Art Resource Group at a cost of $1,240 to appraise the City of Laguna Beach permanent painting collection.

2020 City Hall Exhibition
Discuss and approve the exhibition schedule and a new interior temporary installation by Harumo Sato at a cost of $4.930.

April 3 2020: Play Serious (2018) “Filmmaker T.M. Rives follows the trials and tribulations of Alexander Ekman’s process creating his ambitious new work, Play, for the Paris Opera Ballet.” Not rated.

Inside Out: The People’s Art Project
Discuss and approve the concept of the project
The Inside Out: The People’s Art Project is a global program transforming messages of personal identity into works of art. Inspired by the large-format street pastings by artist JR, Inside Out provides the community an opportunity to share their portrait and express their stories.
