Crystal Cove Field Science Saturday is Saturday January 11 2020.

Help learn more about life in Crystal Cove’s coastal ecosystems by participating in Snapshot Cal Coast at 2:00pm-4:00pm.

Head to Crystal Cove Beach and tidepools to participate in Snapshot Cal Coast, a state-wide coastal bioblitz!

A bioblitz is an attempt to document as many species as possible in a particular time and place.
Snapshot Cal Coast participants will be documenting marine life in every Marine Protected Area in California.

Record observations with the inaturalist App

To contribute data at the event, download the inaturalist App and make an account before coming to the park.

Bring your smart phone with the iNaturalist app downloaded (or digital camera), and document as many species as you can find!

This event is recommended for ages 8 and up. All participants under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Meet at the Historic District’s Education Commons.

Event is free; $15 day use fee required per vehicle or California State Park Pass
