Dana Point is home to Whales natural migration path.
Hundreds of Whales are passing through the Dana Point Coastal Waters.
Dana Point Festival highlights include:an opening day parade, Street Fair, art and craft shows and sales, classic car exhibits, paddling and sailing opportunities, Boating Extravaganza, sand sculpting, concerts on land and water, environmental activities, educational opportunities, interpretive crafts, kids activities, fun food, and of course, whale watching excursions on a variety of vessels or whale watching from breathtaking Dana Point Headlands Conservation Park.
The parade begins at 10:00am.
The Parade begins at a new route beginning at Dana Drive on the island side of Island Way and then proceeding over the Island Way bridge, then right on Dana Point Harbor Drive and ending at Golden Lantern and Dana Point Harbor Drive.

Dana Point Harbor in the parking lot at Dana Point Harbor Drive and Golden Lantern.
The Pet Project Foundation hosts the Street Fair and Whales and Tails Wag-a-Thon at Dana Point Harbor. Shop at over 70 vendor booths, enjoy music, food trucks, a kiddie area, pet costume contest, souvenirs, a chance to win great prizes and so much more.
Funds raised help Pet Project Foundation support the San Clemente/Dana Point Animal Shelter.

Laguna Beach Free Coastal Trolley
You can ride the Free Laguna Beach Coastal Trolley to Dana Point’s Salt Creek Beach and transfer to a OCTA Bus or call a Lyft to Dana Point Festival of Whales Festivities.
Festival of the Whales Harbor Shuttles at 10:00am-4:00pm

There are multiple parking lots throughout the Festival.
Some of these lots fill earlier than others, but ALL lots are serviced by the FREE shuttle.
Park free for up to 4 hours in most Dana Point Harbor Lots.
Dana Point Harbor is located at 34624 Golden Lantern Street in Dana Point California.
Please remember, 4 hours maximum in these lots.
All parking lots are monitored by Orange County Sheriff’s Department so please do check your watch when you park and keep an eye on the time.
No matter where you park the FREE shuttle services all event locations.
Park at Doheny State Beach ALL day or for only $3.00per hour each weekend of the Festival.
If you wish to take advantage of this pricing please visit the automated pay machines located in the parking lots.
From Doheny, catch the FREE shuttle that services this area approximately every 15 minutes.
Daily service during the Festival will be offered between Dana Wharf and the Ocean Institute from 12:00pm to 5:00pm
Round trip tickets are $5.00 per person.
Park and ride and take in all the great sights from the water!
Your captain will share interesting facts and features about the Dana Point area and it’s fascinating history.
