Dana Point California Beaches are open for Active Use on Memorial Day Weekend 2020.
Parking may be limited and Restrooms may be closed.

If you Cannot Stay 6 Feet Apart: Mandatory Face Coverings
The County of Orange Mandates wearing Face Coverings.

Active Beach Recreation Allowed

Walking ACTIVE RECREATION PERMITTED BEACH ACTIVITIES (including, but not limited to):

Walking/Running/Jogging
Ocean recreation: swimming, paddle boarding, surfing, bodyboarding, skim boarding, kayaking
Physical activity which keeps individuals in non-stationary active motion

Non Permitted Beach Activities

Gatherings
Beach towels, blankets, easy-ups, tents, umbrellas, etc.- items used for settling in place
Sitting or lying on beach
Setting up chairs and staying in place
Picnics/coolers/tables

California State Beaches Information During COVID-19

No Parking at all Orange County State Beaches during COVID-19.
Temporarily closed to vehicular access, meaning there are no parking facilities and parking on roadways is prohibited to protect public health from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Although the beach is open to local residents, they must abide by the following guidelines:

Stay Local: Walk or bike into the beach. (Do not drive to the beach)

Keep It Moving: Keep walking, jogging, surfing, swimming, etc.
(No sitting. No sunbathing.)

Stay Safer at 6 Feet: Maintain a physical distance of 6 feet or more.

Visitors are being asked to leave if there are too many people at the beach or on trails to allow for the required physical distance.

Doheny State Beach is located at 25300 Dana Point Harbor Drive in Dana Point

Doheny State Beach will be opening 50% of their public parking lot.

Doheny Hours: 6:00am-8:30pm

Capistrano Beach located at 35005 Beach Road : 6:00am-10:00pm

Salt Creek Beach located at 33333 South Pacific Coast Highway: 5:00am-12:00am

Baby Beach located at 34401-34445 Ensenada Place: 5:00am-10:00pm

Strands Beach located at 34199 Selva Road: 5:00am-12:00am

Parking lots partially open; restrooms open with high-frequency sanitation protocols.

Dana Cove Beach

Dana Cove Beach is located at 24201 Dana Point Harbor Drive

Hours: 6:00am-10:00pm
