Metrolink Track Closure in South Orange County September 16 2021 thru October 3 2021

MetroLink Suspends some Rail Service in Orange County due to safety concerns in San Clemente California.

Metrolink announced it is suspending rail service to the San Juan Capistrano, San Clemente and Oceanside stations beginning Thursday September 16 2021.

MetroLink will be performing emergency track work to stabilize the right-of-way in the San Clemente area and ensure the safety of its operations.

The suspended service will affect trains on the Orange County and Inland Empire-Orange County lines.

During the work period, Metrolink trains will operate as far south as the Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo Station.

There will be no alternate bus service to connect to the San Juan Capistrano, San Clemente or Oceanside stations.
