
The Dana Point Ocean Institute Tide Pool Hike is Sunday January 30 2022.
This is a Dana Point Family Friendly Event.
Join the Ocean Institute for a Tide Pool Hike is led by one of their expert naturalists at 1:00pm-3:00pm.
The hike will take you into the rocky Marine Conservation Area located directly behind the Ocean Institute.
Families can explore the area and search for snails, crabs, sea stars, and other animals that make the tidepools their home.
The Winter months are a great time to explore these magical marine ecosystems!
Purchase Tickets Online at The Ocean Institute. Tickets are $15.00 per person.
*Includes admission to the Ocean Institute the day of your tour.
Free member admission is not applicable for Tidepool Hikes.
Please sign-up in advance as space is limited.
Walk-ins will only be allowed when space is available.
Hike Difficulty Rating: Moderate to Strenuous
Please be prepared for rocky, uneven, and slick terrain for the entire hike.
Dress: Closed-toed Closed-heeled sturdy shoes are required.
It is also recommended to apply sunscreen, to dress in light layers and to bring plenty of water.
