Laguna Niguel Aliso Woods Canyon #CoastalFire Guide Wednesday May 11 2022.

Orange County Sheriff’s report that the Aliso Woods Coastal Fire is a fast moving fire that has burned over 200 acres.

Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) is reporting that they are using heavy resources on the ground and in the air.

OCFA is reporting that they have over 60 different types of resources battling the flames.

White Smoke is visible throughout South Orange County.

Coastal Fire Evacuations

Mandatory Evacuation Order (OC Sheriffs)
The area north of the intersection of Flying Cloud Drive and Pacific Island Drive to the intersection of Highlands Avenue and Pacific Island Drive is under Mandatory Evacuation Order.

Voluntary Evacuation Warning (OC Sheriffs)
The area south of Flying Cloud Drive and Pacific Island Drive to the intersection of Pacific Island Drive and Crown Valley Parkway is under a Voluntary Evacuation Warning.

The City of Laguna Niguel Reports Mandatory and Voluntary Evacuations are in place for the following communities and streets:

La Vue
Vista Montemar
Sierra Vista
Alta Terra
Chapala Ct
Arelo Ct

8:25pm: The City of Laguna Beach lifted the Evacuation Warning for Balboa Nyes Neighborhood.
Residents asked to stay vigilant overnight.

6:00pm: OC Sheriff is reporting An Evacuation Order has been issued for Coronado Pointe Drive, Vista Court, and Via Las Rosa in the Pacific Island area of Laguna Niguel.

6:00pm: Coastal Fire is estimated to be 183 acres.

5:00pm: Coastal Fire is estimated to be 30 acres.

4:35pm: Orange County Sheriff Department is reporting that Communities near Pacific Island Drive and Coronado Pointe need to evacuate do due fast moving brush fire.

4:00pm: Orange County Parks are reporting that Aliso and Wood Canyons Wilderness Park is currently closed due to #CoastalFire.

2:45pm: Orange County Fire Authority is reporting a vegetation fire at Aliso Woods Canyon.
