California ISO ended its Energy Emergency Alert on Tuesday September 6 2022 at 8:00pm.
California consumers conservation efforts protected the electric grid and avoided power outages.

California Record Breaking Heat created a high demand for energy on Tuesday.

At 5:17pm Cal Iso declared an Energy Emergency Alert (EEA) 3 that would allow the Grid Operator to order rotating power outages if needed to stabilize the system.

The Grid Operator was prepared to order rotating power outages to lower demand and stabilize the system.

California Is Currently on Day Seven of Flex Alerts to Conserve Energy.
