The focus will quite obviously be on the heavy rains and mountain snow Thursday (especially in the morning).
A flood watch is in effect in coastal, valley and mountain areas late tonight through Thursday afternoon.

At 430 PM radar showed a line of strong thunderstorms moving over the northern coastal waters.
The main threat with this line of storms is gusty winds with isolated pockets of damaging wind possible.
Rain amounts so far have been light, but expected to increase tonight. T
here are Special Marine Warnings in place for this line of storms, due to a chance of waterspouts, wind gusts of 34 knots or greater and small hail.
In addition, the buoys are showing hazardous, choppy waves.
Our storm will peak tonight into Thursday 6:00pm tonight (Wednesday March 12 2025 to 6:00am Thursday March 13 2025 is the period of most concern).
