Dana Point Butterflies Habitat Community Workdays Guide Saturday February 28 2026.

Join the City of Dana Point in “Bringing Back the Monarchs!”
By creating habitats, you are helping monarch butterflies return to their natural environment as they migrate.
Join in for a hands-on, community driven effort to create and restore vital habitats for the monarch butterfly and pollinators!
Activities include habitat maintenance, planting, pruning, and non-native or invasive plant removals.
Water, tools, and snacks will be provided.
Ages 13 and under need to be accompanied by an adult.
All family participants must register individually.
Dana Point Butterflies Habitats Community Workdays Schedule

All planting days will be from 9:00am – 12:00pm.

Saturday February 28 2026: Lantern Bay Park located at 25111 Park Lantern

Saturday March 14 2026: Sycamore Creek Trail North located at 33856-33998 Del Obispo Street

Saturday April 11 2026: Creekside Park located at 25743 Stonehill Drive

Saturday April 25 2026: Sycamore Creek Trail South located at 33856-33998 Del Obispo Street
