HIGH SURF ADVISORY: Large surf is forecast to continue through the remainder of the week. For your safety, stay out of the water, off rocks, and avoid beaches impacted by hazardous surf conditions until conditions improve.

The National Weather Service has issued a advisory for the Orange County Coast through Friday June 12 2026.
The NWS reports that, “South swell from 190 degrees with a period of 18 to 20 seconds will generate surf of 4 to 7 feet with sets up to 9 feet along south-facing beaches. High rip current risk.”
The City of Laguna Beach is reporting that Laguna Beach Marine Safety responded to a Emergency Call at Treasure Island at 7:30pm on Tuesday June 9 2026.
A mother and her two children were swept into the ocean by powerful water conditions while near the shoreline.
Bystanders immediately entered the water and successfully rescued the mother and one child.
Tragically, an adolescent female remains missing.
