Watermans Dana Point Harbor: New Restaurant in the Harbor Opens to Positive Reviews

Watermans in Dana Point Harbor is open! Watermans opened on September 15 2014 to a welcomed reception!
Their Facebook page is loaded with positive comments from their guests.
Watermans is located in the old Jolly Roger Restaurant location. Their address is 34661 Golden Lantern.
They specialize in sustainable seafood. Check out their menu on their Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/watermandp
Facebook has trouble linking. If you go to Facebook and just type in watermandp, that is the best way to view the menu.

They are scheduled to start serving lunch in October. Currently they open for dinner at 4:00pm.

Laguna Beach Open For Business Forum Tonight at 6:30pm

The city of Laguna Beach is hosting a “Open for Business” Forum tonight, Thursday September 25 2014 at 6:30pm.
Anyone doing business or interested in doing business in Laguna Beach is invited to attend. This is a free event.
The Forum will take place at Laguna Beach Community center located at 380 Third Street.

What A Dish in Dana Point will be having A Ribbon Cutting Celebration Today, Friday September 12 2014 at 4:00pm.
What a Dish is located at 24921 Dana Point Harbor Drive Suite B100.
After 16 years at their current location, What a Dish will now be adding a Thursday – Sunday dinner service to their existing menu and you’re invited to attend a ribbon cutting to celebrate this occasion. Free appetizers and 1/2 price wine, beer and all cocktails will be available all night. Live music will begin at 5:30pm.

San Clemente DMV still a Construction Zone: Not Opened as Scheduled

The San Clemente Department of Motor Vehicles Office remains closed today.
Previously, The city of San Clemente reported that the San Clemente DMV would reopen today Monday August 25 2014.

The site states that Martha Villalobos Lang, a DMV Administrative Manager gave them the August 25 start date. The San Clemente DMV office has been closed since January 22 2014 for repairs. The office has been scheduled to open on various occasions since January to no avail.
The DMV website does not include the San Clemente office as a closure at this time.

South OC Beaches has reached out to the DMV for more information. We spoke to them on the phone early this afternoon. They reported that the project is behind schedule and that they do not have a firm date as to when it will be reopened. They said to check back on a day to day basics.
Currently area residents are encouraged to go to the Laguna Hills DMV for their DMV needs. The Laguna Hills DMV is located at 23535 Moulton Parkway. They are open every week day from 8 am to 5 pm except on Wednesdays. On Wednesdays they open at 9:00 am.
The San Clemente DMV is located at 2727 Via Cascacita.
