Pet Project Foundation is excited to be partnering with the City of Dana Point and Chamber of Commerce in the 2015 Festival of Whales.

San Clemente-Dana Point Animal Shelter Summer Blackout: Black Cats $50.00
During the month of August, the San Clemente- Dana Point Animal Shelter will offer black kittens and cats for adoption at a discounted price of $50.00. The shelter is calling their special promotion a “Summer Blackout” and encourages people to adopt black cats, which are typically 50 percent less likely to be adopted than cats of another color. The shelter regularly charges $150 to adopt kittens under 4 months old and $100 for cats and kittens 4 months or older. The promotional adoption price includes the standard spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip, vet exam, flea treatment and deworming treatment, and a bag of cat food.

The shelter hours are as follows: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; Wednesday open from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; Sunday open from noon to 3:00 p.m.; and Monday the shelter is closed.
