The California Coastal Commission Monthly Meeting is nearby in San Diego Wednesday January 13 2016 and Thursday January 14 2016.

Wednesday January 13 2016 meeting begins at 1:00pm.
The California Coastal Commission rotates their monthly meetings throughout the State of California.
The public is encouraged to attend.

Your voice can be heard at the California Coastal Commission Meeting.
If you have any concerns about California Beach issues you may address the Commission.

The City of Dana Point is working with the California Coastal Commission on removing the Gates at Strands Beach.
The California Coastal Commission has extended their order for Dana Point to remove the Gates to January 29 2016.

Strand Beach Gates: Tell The Dana Point City Council What You Want at Meeting Tuesday November 17 2015

Dana Point City Council meets Tuesday November 17 2015 at 6:00pm.
The Council will be meeting at City Council Chambers.
Chambers are located at 33282 Golden Lantern Street.
The public is encouraged to attend.

On November 3 2015 The Dana Point City Council heard the publics reaction to the Council defying The California Coastal Commission urging to remove all gates at Strands Beach.

Dana Point City Council passed their resolution to continue to have locked gates at Strands Beach.

The Council revised the hours from one hour before sunrise and one hour after sunset.

They based their decision on public safety issues.
