Oktoberfest Benefit for Pet Project Foundation San Clemente

The Pet Project Foundation will be having a Oktoberfest Fundraising Event Today, Sunday September 28 2014 from 4:30pm to 10:00pm.
This event is $75.00 per person.
The a Pet Project Foundation benefits The San Clemente/Dana Point Animal Shelter.
The Oktoberfest is being held at 207 Chophouse.
The Chophouse is located at 207 S. El Camino Real in San Clemente.
Martin Gerachwitz and Friends will be performing today,
There will be beer, authentic German cuisine and a costume contest.

Velzy Surf Classic and Luau at Doheny Right Now till 10:00pm

The 25th Annual Velzy Surf Classic and Luau is happening right now at Doheny State Beach. Doheny State Beach is located at 25300 Dana Point Harbor Drive in Dana Point. This event started at 6:00am and will continue until 10:00pm. The Surf Contest will be from 7:30am until 3:00pm. The Surf contest will include Longboard Competitions, Tandem Surf Contest and SUP contest.
The Luau will begin at 3:00pm today. There will be Polynesian music and dancing. The Soul Surfers will perform today. Hot Rods and Woodies will be on display today.

Watermans Dana Point Harbor: New Restaurant in the Harbor Opens to Positive Reviews

Watermans in Dana Point Harbor is open! Watermans opened on September 15 2014 to a welcomed reception!
Their Facebook page is loaded with positive comments from their guests.
Watermans is located in the old Jolly Roger Restaurant location. Their address is 34661 Golden Lantern.
They specialize in sustainable seafood. Check out their menu on their Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/watermandp

They are scheduled to start serving lunch in October. Currently they open for dinner at 4:00pm.

Laguna Beach Smart Scape Till 2:00pm

Laguna Beach And Dana Point Residents are encouraged to attend the Laguna Beach County Water District and South Coast Water District Smart Scape Event today. The event is ongoing until 2:00pm.
The event is located at The Laguna Beach County Water District office located at 306 3rd Street.
There are free water saving products available to Laguna Beach and Dana Point residents.
This is a family friendly free event. There is ceramic pot painting and mural painting. They are also offering great deals on plants.
Most importantly, you can become educated on water saving during this historical drought.
If you are unable to attend, please contact your local water district for water saving offers that they are currently offering their customers.
