Dana Point Interpretive Center Hosts A Free Whale Walk & Talk at 9:00am Today
Join in this morning, Saturday August 16 2014 at the Dana Point Nature Interpretive Center for a engaging walk and information session about whales and dolphins. This free event starts at 9:00 am and concludes at 11:00am. The Center is located at 34558 Scenic Drive.
From the Dana Point Nature Interpretive Center, you can see many different species of whale and dolphin! Come learn about our largest animal visitors on an approximately 1.5 mile walk through the Dana Point Headlands conservation area. Bring your binoculars (or use ours!) and learn migration patterns of different whale species that frequent the area, as well as how to best spot, watch, and identify whales.
