UPDATE: The Laguna Beach Police Department Reports that the Friday December 18 2015 Checkpoint was at North Pacific Coast Highway and Crescent Bay Drive.

(1903) Vehicles through Checkpoint
(715) Drivers Greeted
(2) DUI-Alcohol suspects arrested
(1) Suspect arrested for illegal drugs (possession/transportation/sales)
(6) Drivers cited/arrested for operating a vehicle unlicensed or while suspended/revoked
(2) Arrested on other Criminal Charges (7) Citations issued

Laguna Beach Police Will Focus on Traffic Safety

The Laguna Beach Police Department has been awarded an $116,320.00 grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety (OTS) for a year-long program of special enforcements and public awareness efforts to prevent traffic related deaths and injuries.
