
UPDATE: 8:45am Tuesday June 28 2016: The City of Laguna Beach is reporting that Firefighters continue to monitor the fire site and extinguish hot spots. The fire is now 85% contained.
UPDATE: 5:30pm Monday June 27 2016: The City of Laguna Beach is reporting that Firefighters are still on the scene extinguishing hot spots and monitoring the situation.
The fire is 75% contained and they expect to have it 100% contained within 24 hours.
The fire was located near the intersection of the Bommer Ridger Trail and Laguna Ridge Trail.
The area’s topography has forced fire hand crews working the perimeter to move slowly, but they are making progress.
