The California Coastal Commission monthly public meeting is Thursday April 14 2016 in Santa Rosa California.

The Meetings are ongoing thru April 15 2016.

The City of Dana Point is working with the California Coastal Commission on removing the Gates at Strands Beach.

The California Coastal Commission will be discussing the Strands Beach issue at the Friday April 15 2016 meeting.

The California Coastal Commission is scheduled to look at Dana Point Short Term Rentals on Thursday April 14 2016.

Dana Point Strands Beach Public Access Agreement Reached April 4 2016

The City of Dana Point has agreed to public access to Strands Beach.
The Surfrider Foundation have been fighting for public access for six years.
A formalized agreement has been submitted to the California Coastal Commission for their approval.
