Laguna Art Museum Screens MANA Movie Today at 10:00am

The Laguna Art Museum is screening the movie MANA today, Saturday November 8 2014 at 10:00am.
This screening is part of their Art and Nature series.
This is free to members and free with the cost of regular museum admission.
The Laguna Art Museum is located at 307 Cliff Drive.

The new documentary film MANA features ten Southern California Artists who share a love of surfing and a love for the ocean.
The film focuses on how their ocean passion informs their art.

Director Eric Minh Swenson and executive producer Andi Campognone and some of the participating artists will be in attendance for the screening.

The featured artists include Craig Skibs Barker, Casper Brindle, Ben Brough, Alex Couwenberg, Ned Evans, Steve Fuchs, Eric Johnson, David Lloyd, Ken Pagliaro, and Alex Weinstein.

Each artist approaches his work differently.
Their reverence for the power, beauty and complexity of the ocean is at the forefront.
They are also unified by their strong community and family connections.
They share a commitment to younger generations through art and surfing.

Swenson and Campognone will participate in a Q&A immediately following the screening.
