The Laguna Beach United Methodist Church (LBUMC) is presenting their Christmas Pageant today, Sunday December 14 2014 at 10:00am.
LBUMC is located at 21632 Wesley Drive.

The Unheard Voices of the Christmas Story.
The Unheard Voice of Christmas:
The Innkeeper, as told through the Children’s Pageant of Las Posadas, which is a tradition from Mexico.
Our children will re-enact Mary and Joseph’s journey from Nazareth to Bethlehem in search of shelter.
Las Posadas means shelter or lodging.
The procession of “Santos Peregrinos,” or Holy Pilgrims, stops at the first house where Joseph begs for shelter.
The Innkeeper responds by turning them away.
The pilgrims move to the second house, and are also turned away.
At the third house, the innkeeper has a change of heart and invites them in! The story is about the Innkeeper and his conversion as he hears the Good News of a Savior born – for us, and for him.
They will also be lighting the rose candle in our Advent Wreath.
The rose candle is lit on Gaudete Sunday, which is a day of rejoicing because they are at the mid-point of Advent.
It is the day they recognize that the darkness is growing lighter.
They hope that you will join them for this beautiful and celebratory day of worship, led by their children! ”
