The South Orange County School of Arts (SOCSA) presents A Midsummer Night’s Dream tonight, Thursday March 12 2015 at 7:00pm.
The play will be running through March 14 2015.
The play is at the Porthole Theatre located on the Dana Hills High School Campus.
Dana Hills High School is located at 33333 Golden Lantern Street.
A Midsummer Night’s Dream is William Shakespeare’s classic comedy, believed to have been written between 1590 and 1596.
It portrays the events surrounding the marriage of the Duke of Athens, Theseus, and Hippolyta.
These include the adventures of four young Athenian lovers and a group of six amateur actors (mechanicals), who are controlled and manipulated by the fairies who inhabit the forest in which most of the play is set.
The play is one of Shakespeare’s most popular works for the stage and is now being brought to life by SOCSA March 12th through the 14th, 2015.
