The Wind and Sea Restaurant in Dana Point Harbor suffered fire damage today, Monday April 6 2015.
Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) responded to a working structure fire at 1:50am.
At one point there was thirty OCFA firefighters aggressively attacking the fire.
The OCFA had the fire under control by 2:35am.
Most of the restaurant was saved.
Captain Steve Concialdi, Public Information Officer of Orange County Fire Authority estimated that there was
$100,000 damage to the structure and $20,000 damage to the contents of the restaurant.
The most probable cause of the fire was a build of grease in the hood and duct systems according to Captain Concialdi.
No injuries were reported.
The Wind and Sea Restaurant is located at 34699 Golden Lantern Street.
