The Laguna Beach Sawdust Festival presents Watercolour Travel Journal Workshop today, Wednesday April 8 2015 at 10:00am.
The Sawdust Festival is located at 935 Laguna Canyon Road.
Have you ever wanted to capture the essence of a place by drawing or painting it?
In this fun spring class, you will be creating a travel journal with portable supplies that you can take on your vacation, or simply to a stroll on the beach or a walk through the park.
You will begin by learning how to make quick sketches of scenes and landscape, and then painting them in with watercolour paints.
You will outline your paintings with permanent ink technical pens to give each piece a finished look.
* Please note: there is a small supplies list suggested for this class.
Originally from New York, Mary Gulino, owner of My Artist Loft in Laguna Beach provides instruction in all levels of painting and photography both in group workshops and with one-on-one lessons.
She has a keen eye for color, design, balance and perspective, and incorporates these important elements into her own art and into her teaching.
