The Laguna Beach Alliance for the Arts (LBAA) announces award-winning actor Joe Mantegna to deliver the keynote speech at the 9th Annual Art Star Awards to be held on Sunday, April 12 at Seven Degrees in Laguna Beach at 6 p.m.
As the keynote speaker, Mantegna will share stories about his successful and diverse career.
During the event in true Academy Award style, awards in seven categories will be presented to organizations, businesses and individuals who shaped and contributed to the community’s arts and culture in Laguna Beach this last year.
Additionally, the winner of the $5,000 [seven-degrees] of Inspiration Grant will be announced and last year’s grant winner artist Cheryl Ekstrom will present her resulting and innovative project.

During the event, the Laguna Beach Alliance for the Arts will honor Carol Reynolds with a special Lifetime Achievement in the Arts Award in recognition of her passion for music and profound impact on the arts community.
The Laguna Beach Alliance for the Arts was established in 2002 as the result of an exciting partnership among more than 20 Laguna Beach organizations.
The mission is to serve as an advocate for the arts, promote collaboration and networking among the arts organizations of Laguna Beach, and to serve as a united voice for the arts in the city.
