Antarctica Explorer Ari Friedlaender Tonight at Dana Point Ocean Institute

The Dana Point Ocean Institute presents Antarctica Explorer Ari Friedlaender tonight, Wednesday April 22 2015 at 6:00pm.
The Ocean Institute is located at 24200 Dana Point Harbor Drive.

Over the course of 25 trips to Antarctica, Ari’s research program used tag technology to study the underwater behavior of marine mammals, leading to many discoveries about whales. Using photography, Ari has sought to shed light on some of the unique aspects of the Antarctic inhabitants and the threats that this fragile ecosystem now faces.

Ari will be speaking about his book Unframbable tonight.

Reception: $55 (includes book) • Members: $5 • General: $10
The private reception capacity is limited to 30 guests.
The general event capacity is 150.
