Laguna Beach Garden Club Annual Gate and Garden Tour is today, Friday May 1 2015.
This is a special tour of gardens in Woods Cove.
Tour starts at 11:00am.
A walking tour on quiet streets near Bluebird Park offers not only a unique opportunity to stroll through
private gardens but also views of heritage trees, quirky birdhouses and memorable homes.
Woods Cove is one of the first neighborhoods settled and is still filled with quaint beach cottages, mature trees and small scale newer homes.
Eight private gardens will be open to explore along a marked route on paved city streets.
This is the shortest route ever and mostly down hill yet you will be transported to fragrant Tuscany,
a mermaid’s watery lair, orderly vegetable gardens, gently controlled wild spaces and a tropical Paradise.
In celebration of Laguna’s heritage, plein air artists have been invited to paint in several of the gardens.
There will also be an exotic plant sale at the end of the tour.
The tour will start at Arabella Laguna 506 N. Pacific Coast Highway.
