Laguna Art Museum is hosting – Imagination Celebration event today, Saturday May 2 2015.
This is a fun-filled day of exciting art activities for the whole family.
Laguna Art Museum is located at 307 Cliff Drive.
This is a free event from 11:00am to 2:00pm today.
Imagination Celebration is an annual county-wide event produced by Arts Orange County and
the Orange County Department of Education in collaboration with multiple arts organizations.
Laguna Art Museum will continue its partnership with professional artists from
Laguna Outreach for Community Arts (LOCA) and My Hero Project.
LOCA and My Hero will lead different art projects stationed throughout the museum.
In addition to hands-on art projects, the day is filled with activities:
face painting
balloons
story time
the popular art detective game
an exhibition inspired art activity led by museum staff
live music performed by the El Morro and Top of the World Elementary Schools Honors Chorus

Imagination Celebration, a program of Arts Orange County in partnership with the Orange County Department of Education, dynamically connects community, arts organizations, universities and Orange County students in providing meaningful access to the arts.
This collaboration presents a county-wide arts festival offering free or very affordable events in performing and visual arts in order to highlight creativity as the center of a livable, healthy community.
Venues include arts organizations, schools, city facilities, city parks, university campuses, movie theaters, libraries, shopping malls, and arboretums.
