Every year, South Coast Water District awards scholarships to college-bound high school seniors who live in the District’s service area.
For 2015, individual scholarships are $1,000.
A maximum of five scholarships will be awarded.
South Coast Water District is now accepting applications from high school seniors graduating in 2015.
The deadline to apply is today May 4, 2015.
You are eligible to apply for a South Coast Water District college scholarship if you:
Live in South Coast Water District’s service area.
Are graduating from high school in 2015 and entering a college or university.
Can demonstrate your involvement in community service, public service, volunteer work, and/or environmental activities.
Write a 500-word essay about water from topics provided in the application.
BEFORE APPLYING: Call or email the District’s scholarship contact, Amber Haston, at 949 499-4555, ext. 3139, to verify that you live in our service area and are eligible to apply. Applications from students who do not live in the District’s service area cannot be accepted.
Scholarship Application Instructions
1. Complete the 2015 South Coast Water District Scholarship Application.
2. Submit your typed or handwritten application in one of the following ways:

Fax your application to 949-499-4256, attention Amber Haston.
Send via U.S. mail to SCWD, P.O. Box 30205, Laguna Niguel, CA 92607-0205, attention Amber Haston.
Deliver to Amber Haston at our Administrative Office, 31592 West St., Laguna Beach (open 7 a.m. – 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday).
